Outdoor Neophyte Tips....

From the outdoor neophyte:

Always travel with pictures of your family and postcards from where you live to share with locals. People are as intrigued by us as we are with them - even in different parts of the United States.

No matter what type of camera you are using, always use the best possible film in your camera that you can afford. You will pass this way only once.

Remember to copy your passport, place it in a waterproof zip-loc bag, and keep it somewhere separate from your original.
